Houses, trees, holligans, black, red and blue

I bought 2 new pentel brushes, so I drew these buildings on the train from Aachen to Brussels to try them out.

While waiting for my mother to be readied for bed at her nursing home, I started to draw those trees. I finished them while talking to her when she was in bed...

On the train back from Brussels, some young hooligans were trying to tempt me into a fight.

Train bistro girl

Again, the subject was much too fast to disappear. I completed the train bistro counter and some details of the girl later on another train.

Robots

I still haven't bought a Moleskine. To tell the truth, my Hahnemühle sketchbook serves me well enough and was less than half the price of a skine so I'll continue using this one and abstain from being represented on the nice skineart.com blog at least until I finished this one.

Bruxelles, Gare Centrale

Brussels Central Station, an underground railway station, turn of the (last) century style. Unfortunately, it is being cheaply renewed and many of the original achitecture and style is being removed by cheap, styleless materials. Some of the brand new floor material's already chipped. Last year, the floor was still covered with the original beige and black terracotta tesselation , now it's cheap concrete plates, some of which are already chipped on the corners.

“Au Bon Bol”, Brussels

A chinese place in Brussels where noodles are made on-the-spot.
In the first image, the waitress makes the noodles (she was fast and I couldn't finish).
In the second image which I made weeks later, she eats (again I couldn't finish- the boots are still only drafted).
